Since 2013, Central East Aged Care Alliance Inc (now known as Central East Accommodation & Care Alliance Inc) pursued funding to facilitate the large scale construction of independent living units in Western Australia.

The Royalties for Regions grants are the largest investments into regional aged housing in Western Australia.

The funding in the CEACA Housing Project not only provide social benefits to the region but also created jobs in construction and support industries, contributing to the communities' economic sustainability and growth.
